Spar Web Investigation Update

The ABS Air Safety Foundation hosted a conference call June 8th attended by engineers from the FAA's Wichita (Kansas) Aircraft Certification Office and engineering faculty at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), representing ERAU's EagleWorks Applied Engineering Research Center.

The purpose of the call was for FAA to review with EagleWorks its questions about the Damage Tolerance Report submitted on behalf of ABS-ASF last autumn, so EagleWorks may submit a proposal for ABS-ASF consideration on the scope, schedule and cost of work necessary to answer those questions.
