Olive Ann Beech Marker DedicationJune 10, 2010The Beechcraft Heritage Museum invites you to be part of the dedication of an historical marker honoring Beech Aircraft co-founder and president Olive Ann Beech. The two-part commemoration will take place in Wichita, Kansas on Saturday, July 10, and at Mrs. Beech's hometown of Waverly, Kansas on Sunday, July 11. According to Beechcraft Heritage Museum executive director Wade McNabb, "registration may be accomplished by sending an email or phoning the museum. The purpose of the registration is to gain an understanding of how many aircraft may show on Saturday in order to coordinate ramp space with the FBO at Jabara. There are no registration fees. Also, the Parade of Beechcraft is designed to be a trail with adequate spacing between aircraft, unless we have a group who flys formation together, and want to make a pass over the ceremony as their own element." For more informion, including how to contact Wade McNabb to participate, see this announcement. |
