ABS received an update on SwiftFuel written by an independent author who is also involved in biomass energy research (for non-vehicular applications). The update includes the current status of SwiftFuel, recent reports it may be turning to natural gas as a base material instead of biomass, SwiftFuel's octane rating and operating characteristics, and Swift Enterprises' progress both toward ASTM certification and obtaining an FAA STC for its fuel formulation. The independent report is posted on the ABS website.
