  This ABS Convention & Trade Show is special because we’re celebrating so many anniversaries. Not just Beechcraft’s 75th and the Bonanza’s 60th, but your Society’s 40th and the 25th anniversary of the ABS headquarters building. You might say we’re in “anniversary overload!” I’m delighted to report that this convention has more registrants than any since 1997! I am sorry that our cofounders – Dr. B. J. “Mac” McClanahan and Henry Schlossberg – both had schedule conflicts, but I have no doubt they’re with us in spirit! For the full flavor of the convention, take a look at the outstanding seminars; read about the many Highlights; and of course don’t miss the Exhibitors’ list and booth layout. There are many to thank for this fine event. In particular, my fellow Convention Committee member Art Brock and I extend special appreciation to the ABS staff who makes convention planning look so easy. But being part of the action, Art and I know just how much time, talent and imagination it takes. Many product/service suppliers helped underwrite the convention this year – making it possible to bring you a quality event at a lower registration fee.
