Complex/High Performance Endorsement

My Grandpa just bought a J35 for me to get my complex/high performance endorsement and build some time in. I'm confused as to the exemptions found at:

Can I get my initial complex/high performance endorsement in it even though it has a single throw over yoke? Or do I need PIC time in a dual control to meet the "qualified person to act as pilot-in-command" statement.

Currently you will need an instructor that has a "Single Yoke Waiver" and meets the Open Pilot Warranty in your insurance policy.

The single yoke rules are currently being reviewed but to my knowledge have not yet been changed. Check w/BPPP for a CFI (SYW) in your area.

It is best to get a "real" Bonanza instructor to teach you to fly the plane and to meet any insurance requirements.
