New Orleans FBO's

Hi,

My name is Brian Wier and I am planning a trip to New Orleans later this year.  I was wondering if there is anyone out there who could recommend a good FBO in the area for someone with a 1971 V35B and needs your basic FBO services, (i.e., fuel, tie-down or hangar, weather computer, car rental, etc., etc.?? I am not opposed to driving in from one of the surrounding airports to KNEW if the fuel and service was worth it.  Appreciate any ideas!!!  I will check this site or you can e-mail me, jbwier@wwt.net.

Brian,

I was going to NEW about 3 weeks ago and canceled due to weather.

I was planning to park at aeropremier Jet Center.   Fuel prices were found by using AirNav.com.

In the past, I have never had a problem going from NEW airport to downtown New Orleans.

Note, I almost never rent a car.  I usually take a cab and walk or take a bus, or trolley, or other rail into a city.  A car is just an accident waiting to happen. Parking is also a major pain.   

Granted there are exceptions, but usually I take a cab.
