The installation of the KMT-112 flux gate to support a Sandel EHSI requires, "The mounting surface should be such that when the aircraft is in level flight the mounting flange of the KMT-112 will be levelwithin +/- 2 degrees." My recollection of "level flight" (65% power, 2 people with light baggage, full fuel) places the empennage considerably by
appearance higher than the "longitudinally level attitude" obtained by utilizing the leveling plates inside the baggage door. Does anybody have data that correlates "level flight attitude"
to "longitudinally level attitude"?
