MLG Drag link Slop

I have a D-55 that has fore and aft movement on the MLG drag brace. I can't find any tech data on allowable limits. It moves about 0.045" fore and aft.I removed it and there are no bushings and I can't find any shim washers listed in the IPC. Anyone know anything about this? The other side shows no fore and aft movement.

ON page 5-25 (Main Landing Gear Installation) in the Beech Baron 55 and 58 Shop Manual there is a note giving the part numbers for the shim between the landing gear lift leg and the spars.

Maximum total clearance should be .016 between the lift lag and spar.

Two size shims available 100951-S-016-XF (.016 shim) and 100951-S-032-XF (.032 shim).  

Place shim on front or rear to align the lift leg.
