About Voyager

The Voyager Flight Software System is a complete software system that makes flying safer and more enjoyable.  Preflight, it will check the weather (a complete and legal briefing) and plan a wind-optimized, fuel-price optimized flight.  In flight, it puts a tremendous amount of information at your fingertips in a way that's quick and easy to understand.

Voyager is a modular system so you can purchase what you need now and upgrade as your needs change (for example, purchase the preflight planning portion now then add the in-flight moving-map module later).  Voyager is also available in a completely free version called Voyager FreeFlight that is a powerful pre-flight planner with weather.

In the October 2008 issue of AOPA Pilot (page 126), Ian Twombly praised Voyager 4.0 in terms of flight planning, in-flight moving map and approach plates.

"It combines a robust preflight planning package with GPS-enabled moving map display for everything a pilot needs to get from point A to B."

"... on the trip to and from EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh and were impressed with the software's utility, ease of use, and display."

"Voyager 4.0 is fun to use, completely customizable, and has too many features to mention here. It could easily take the place of your preflight planning software and handheld GPS."

Any chance for the rest of us in the ABS?  I've got about $800 into my Voyager package so far with subscriptions updates to come.  Any hope for the general ABS membership or do we need to just ask?

Sign up via the PBS Site. You do not need to be a member.  I am working w/ Tom to get this a feature for all ABS Members.
